Public card rates as of October 2026: ONVO 3.9% + $0.35 and $3 per withdrawal; Tilopay 4.25% + $0.35 and $2 per withdrawal; PayPal 5.4% + $0.30. Calculated with 4 withdrawals a month. BAC also charges $50 a month and $0.12 per transaction (plus VAT), and a one-time $175 setup fee. For Banco Popular and BAC we use the maximum fee: 1.5% on Costa Rican cards and 2.5% on international cards. Each provider may negotiate rates based on volume.
